Robert J. Kaufman has practiced law in Georgia since 1975. He earned his law degree at Emory University School of Law, and over five decades he has handled commercial matters through every level of review available to a Georgia business: the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the federal district court, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court, where he was counsel of record for the respondents in 2025. His published matters run from equipment leases and guaranties to a trustee’s breach of fiduciary duty. He was selected to Super Lawyers in business litigation from 2020 through 2022.
Kurt R. Hilbert has been admitted in Georgia since 2002 and is a principal shareholder of the firm. He founded The Hilbert Law Firm in 2009, holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a Superb rating from Avvo, and practices business and real estate litigation across the Atlanta metro and the state. The firm is senior-led by design: the lawyer you meet is the lawyer who manages your case, not a junior associate you never spoke to.
Alex B. Kaufman is an experienced trial attorney who represents clients in commercial, employment and securities litigation, and provides advice on corporate and franchise matters as well as intellectual property disputes, corporate disputes, as well as government relations ranging from local governments to the federal government. Alex currently serves as the General Counsel for the Republican Party of Georgia as well as for the 7 Congressional District. Alex enjoys coaching the Westminster Schools’ high school mock trial team, volunteering in the community, and travel.
